Experience

My experience include various platforms in the industry and on hands experience in direct projects. The industry and academic experience in total includes a collective amount of 5 years where as i have also managed a good amount of pressure after my Masters working 7 days a week while working 2 days a week as an R&D engineer intern 4 days a week in Midtronics Inc. and 3 days in Team Stradale as a Race engineer for 10 months. Apart from that i have mentioned my detailed work experience below.



Illinois institute of technology:



  • Tech news writer: (January 2020 - Present)

TechNews is the independent student-run weekly newspaper serving Illinois Institute of Technology. The first issue of TechNews, Vol 1. No. 1 came out on April 9, 1928. TechNews is written, managed, and edited by the students of Illinois Tech. The material in TechNews does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Illinois Tech or the Editors, Staff, or Advisory Board of TechNews. There is no censorship of TechNews by the faculty or staff of the Illinois Institute of Technology. TechNews seeks to bring together the various segments of the Illinois Tech community and strives through balance and content to achieve a position of respect and excellence. TechNews strives for professionalism with due respect to the intellectual values of the university and its community.

  • Research Assistant: (January 2019 - December 2019)

NASA based project where I was responsible for the development of hardware and GUI for a space-based metal 3D printer called M3AM along with the research team of Interlog.

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant: (August 2018 - December 2018)

Lead tutorials, In-class section and help session to reduce the load of the professor for Digital communication course. Assisted in course plans, grading and field research.




Team Stradale:


Electronic Race Engineer: (August 2016 - August 2018)

• Built and assembled several Sensor based controller boards for Data Acquisition from Race vehicles.
• Acquired and simulated the Race data from several sources in a graphical format for comparison of Race Performance.
• Lead the team for an R&D project of Live data acquisition.




Midtronics:


R&D Engineering Intern: (May 2016 - June 2017)

Main objectives include:Testing and analyzing the performance of battery charging equipment GRX5100 on several EV and HEV vehicle battery packs like the HEV4, CT6, VOLT packs, BEV packs, BAS3, EASSIST. Troubleshooting and analysis of High voltage and low voltage boards of GRX5100 using several hardware and software test procedures.




Sree Acadamy:



Technical Trainer: (May 2015 - August 2015)

Sree academy is an institute that trains Diploma students with industrial and practical knowledge. The job involved teaching embedded systems and robotics. The students were trained to a level where they can implement their own projects with custom made developer boards.
